FAVEROLLE
During the early 1900s, the Faverolle was the best breed the French produced. Bred for their egg and meat production, Faverolles are visually stunning as well as versatile. They have entertaining personalities and are very inquisitive, although they can sometimes be so submissive that they fall to the bottom of the pecking order in some flocks. They are bred for hardiness and winter egg-laying. As most chickens stop laying in winter, this is the perfect breed to add to your flock so you can have eggs all year long.
